Dwight Rudolph Kitchens, M.S., M. B. A.

 Mr. Kitchens has over 35 years experience teaching adults.  After graduating from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, he entered the U. S. Army Transportation Corps, where he served an as Officer until retirement in 1990.  During his 20 years of military service, he worked primarily as a Logistician,  Military Comptroller, and trainer.  Among his many adult educational experiences, he was certified as a Organizational Development Consultant, and taught management techniques to Transportation Officers as part of their career development.  Between assignments he earned a Master of Science Degree in Transportation Management from the Florida Institute of Technology.  The last 5 years of his Army career, Mr. Kitchens served as his organization’s chief automation consultant, while helping to develop training programs for Army logisticians.

Upon retirement at the age of 42, Mr. Kitchens formed a computer hardware and software sales company, successfully marketing to individuals and businesses in the eastern half of the U.S.  In 1995, Mr. Kitchens completed a second Master’s Degree, this one a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Management Information Systems, from the University of Baltimore.  In 1997, Mr. Kitchens chose to concentrate on the Real Estate market for training purposes.  After reviewing eight commonly available computerized Real Estate personal information management software packages, he chose to work exclusively with TOP PRODUCER Systems, Inc., of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.  He became certified to teach their TOP PRODUCER® 6i product in 1998 and held his first course in June 1998.  Later, with the introduction of TOP PRODUCER® 7i in 2002, he became certified on that program as well.

Since 1998, Mr. Kitchens has taught formal classes through Boards and Associations of REALTORS as well as in commercial facilities in Maryland, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Washington, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.  Continuing Education Units have previously been approved in CO, DE, FL, GA, ID, OH, SC, and VA,  for at least one course.  Additionally, he has offered individual/team/brokerage consultations/training sessions throughout the U.S.

With constant updates to the TOP PRODUCER 8i family of products, Mr. Kitchens was recently tested and received designations as a TOP PRODUCER 8i Certified Consultant, which encompases both the TOP PRODUCER 8i Certified Professional and TOP PRODUCER 8i Certified Trainer designations.   These annual designations insure that he has kept his knowledge 'up-to-date'.
