Label Merge Codes
TOP PRODUCER 8i may not include all possible merge codes in the label
templates built into the system. Therefore, I have written a set of merge
codes which I believe will work for all contingencies. When placed within
your label template you will have a more complete set. This set will
handle buildings/floors and Post Office Boxes, keeping everything on appropriate
lines.
On the left hand side you will see the structure of the merge codes. On
the right you will see the results of the merge. Note that on the right
hand side the floor number (4th) and suite number (437) show on the same line,
while the P. O. Box shows on the line below.

If you were to use these same merge codes on an Avery 5160 label (2.625
inches x 1 inch), even if you left off the Property.country merge code, you may
not have sufficient room for either four or five lines of address.
Therefore, I often recommend that you consider using a slightly larger label,
such as an Avery 5162 label (4 inches x 1.33 inches) which gives you two
additional lines on each label.
Note
that at when using a 12 point font (1/6th inch), the Avery 5160 label only holds
four lines of merge coding. The label loses some of the text necessary for
the label to mail.

Here we are printing an Avery 5160 label using a 6 point font (1/12th inch).
Everything fits, but the U.S. Postal Service would probably have difficulty
reading your label. This is why I recommend that you use a larger label,
such as the Avery 5162.
